Saint Laurent Jeans Spring/Summer 1998 by Hedi Slimane.
Before Celine, Saint Laurent Paris and Dior Homme, Hedi Slimane was creative director for Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche and Saint Laurent Jeans, from 1996 to 2000. Both lines encountered great success, especially in Japan where an ambitious Fall 1998 runway show was held, with Hedi Slimane and the Saint Laurent team (including designer Simon Spurr) as well as 14 foreign models making the trip to Tokyo. Saint Laurent Jeans offered simpler collections than Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Homme, as well as more affordable prices.
These high waisted jeans are made of raw thick selvedge denim, with branded flat iron rivets.
